FAQ
The goal of the project is to highlight the diverse experiences of individuals within the Hispanic and Latino community, showcasing their resilience, cultural heritage, and contributions to society. Funds raised from the sale of the photo book will support scholarships for Latino students pursuing higher education.
Portraits will be taken in a variety of locations to reflect the uniqueness of each individual. The location is determined by the participant - a location that inspires, motivates you and allows you to be your authentic self. Each session will be personalized to ensure it truly represents the participant's identity.
We value your privacy and will only share information you are comfortable with. All personal data will be handled with care, and participants will be asked to sign a release form that outlines how images and story will be used. Images will not be used for social media and are stored on a external hard drive.
There will be a registration process that includes scheduling your portrait session and interview. You can sign up:
1. Visiting the project’s website and select "Join the Project Here" on either Proyecto or Project Information pages
3. Contacting Bonnie directly via email: bonnie@threadsofresilienceunite.org
